Bernd Brandl und Gottfried Schweiger In diesem Buch soll der Vielfältigkeit des Arbeitskampfes Rechnung getragen werden. Die einzelnen Beiträgewidmen sich ihm aus unterschiedlichen metho- logischen und disziplinären Perspektiven und analysieren ihn auf theoretischer und empirischer Ebene. Sie sollen damit auch einen Weg für interdisziplinäre - sammenarbeit aufzeigen, ohne dass die Erkenntnisse der jeweiligen Disziplin - bei ihre Eigenständigkeit verlieren. Im Gegenteil, die unterschiedlichen Heran- hensweisen und methodologischen Ansätze ergänzen sich in der Erklärung des Phänomens Arbeitskampf und lassen seine unterschiedlichen Facetten und E- nen sichtbar werden. Wie in den Beiträgen zum Ausdruck kommt, gibt es einen hohen Grad an Überschneidungen sowohl im konkreten Untersuchungsgeg- stand als auch vor allem in den Ergebnissen der Analysen. Es zeigt sich, dass sich Studien und Analysen aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen ergänzen und komp- mentär zueinander sind. Dieser Sammelband kann somit auch als ein Versuch - wertet werden, dass Thema Arbeitskampf interdisziplinär zu "studieren" um auf Grundlage mehrere (disziplinärer) Betrachtungen zu einem besseren und gesa- heitlichen Verständnis des Phänomens Arbeitskampf zu kommen. Dieser S- melband soll somit helfen die Grenzen zwischen den Disziplinen ein klein wenig abzubauen und Möglichkeiten für einen gemeinsamen Diskurs zu zeigen.
