Wurden regionale Probleme in der Propaganda thematisiert? Inwiefern wurde die nationalsozialistische Ideologie in der Propaganda zum Thema? Gab es besondere Personen, gegen die Propaganda betrieben wurde? Um diese Fragen weiter zu erörtern, wird zunächst näher auf die Richtlinien und Themen der NS-Propaganda in Lippe eingegangen. Hierzu zählen der Kampf gegen den Marxismus und das System Drake sowie die Erläuterung und Bekräftigung der NS-Politik. Obwohl die Landtagswahl in Lippe am 15. Januar 1933 eher unbedeutend für die gesamtdeutsche Politik war, wurde sie von den Nationalsozialisten als "Schicksalswahl" betrachtet. Da die NSDAP am Ende des Jahres 1932 mit einigen innerparteilichen Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen hatte, wie dem Ergebnis der Reichstagswahl am 6. November 1932, dem Rücktritt Gregor Strassers, Reichsorganisationsleiter und Führer des linken Flügels der NSDAP sowie mit finanziellen Schwierigkeiten, wurde die Wahl in Lippe als Angelpunkt der politischen Zukunft der Partei angesehen. Sie sollte zeigen, ob und inwiefern sich die Rückläufigkeit der NS-Bewegung fortsetzt.
