Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,3, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universit�t Bonn (Germanistisches Seminar Abteilung f�r neuere deutsche Literatur), Veranstaltung: Der malerische 'Hochwald' Farben und Begriffe einer Stiftererz�hlung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Farben geh�ren zu der Oberfl�che der Dinge, sie sind Teil des Offensichtlichen, wie es Jacques Le Rider in der Einleitung zu seinem Werk "Les couleurs et les mots" schreibt. Zum Verst�ndnis eines literarischen Textes beizutragen, der sich einem genauen Lesen vor allem �ber seine Tiefenstruktur erschlie t, scheinen Farben also kaum dienlich - oberfl�chlich gesehen. Doch auch 'hinter' Farben sind Dinge verborgen, �ber die Oberfl�chlichkeit kann man in die Tiefe vorsto en: Es ist die gro e Symbolkraft der Farben, die wohl in jeder Kultur eine wichtige Rolle spielt und also auch in der Literatur eine bedeutende Stellung einnehmen kann. Dabei ist Autoren freigestellt, ob sie sie nach der �berlieferten Symbolik verwenden oder ihnen (teilweise) eine neue Bedeutungsebene zuweisen oder gar mehrere, m�glicherweise gegenl�ufige Bedeutungen mit ihnen verbinden. Die Erz�hlung "Der Hochwald" des �sterreichischen Malers und Autors Adalbert Stifter weist in einer ganz besonderen F�lle Farben auf, die die unmittelbare Erz�hlsituation, die Figuren, ihre gegenseitige Konstellation oder die Handlung zu charakterisieren verm�gen oder zukunftsweisend verwandt sind, indem sie auf Geschehnisse im sp�teren Verlauf der Erz�hlung hindeuten. Dabei begegnen dem Leser unterschiedliche Farbengruppen, die einander gegen�berstehen, und auch aus dieser Spannung heraus die Erz�hlung lebendig werden lassen. Die Farben, die der Mensch mit seinem Gesichtssinn wahrnimmt, bilden eine enge Verbindung mit Stifters Malerei; so treten auch Begriffe, die mit dem Sehen und der Malkunst in Verbindung stehen, vermehrt in Stifters "Hochwald" auf.
