Die folgende Seminararbeit wird nicht beantworten können, warum Ronaldo für genau diese Summe den Verein wechselt. Es geht vielmehr darum aufzuzeigen, wie der Spielerarbeitsmarkt modelliert wird. Im zweiten Kapitel wird ein grundlegendes Verständnis für die Besonderheiten der Sportökonomie und der Betrachtung der Erlös- und Kostenseite geschaffen. Au erdem erfolgt in selbigem die allgemeine Beschreibung des Spielerarbeitsmarktes. Der darauf folgende dritte Abschnitt beschreibt die Differenzen bezüglich der Zielfunktionen der Teams, sowie der Beschaffenheit der Spielerarbeitsmärkte. Unterschieden wird dabei zwischen Gewinn- und Nutzenmaximierung sowie geschlossener und offener Liga. Im vierten Kapitel geht es um Faktoren, die Einfluss auf die Karriere eines Spielers nehmen können. Durch empirische Untersuchungen soll dies unterstützt werden. Im abschlie enden fünften Abschnitt erfolgt eine Zusammenfassung der Thematik. Ziel der Arbeit ist es unter anderem die sportliche Ausgeglichenheit (CB) in Abhängigkeit der Zielfunktionen und des jeweiligen Spielerarbeitsmarktes zu charakterisieren.
