Historisch-systematische Rekonstruktion eines Begriffs", Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Was ist der Tod? Wir wissen vom Tod nur durch unsere Erfahrung. Der Tod ist ein Ereignis, das uns stets berw ltigt und das meist ungewollt von au en in unsere Existenz tritt und diese abrupt beendet. Aufgrund dieses empririschen Charakters ist der Tod daher anscheinend nichts, was sich bereits rein gedanklich er- und damit zuletzt abschlie en lie e, denn dann k nnten wir, wenn uns danach ist und wenn es unsere F higkeiten der Erkenntnis von etwas nicht berschreitet, es so einrichten, seine Realit t am Ende vollkommen zu vermeiden. Ein Denken nach diesem Muster, das sowohl eine gelebte (Todes-)Erfahrung als auch die eigene Existenz vollkommen zu vergessen gewohnt ist, ist, Kierkegaard folgend, abstraktes Denken, wobei die Abstraktion vor allem darin besteht, dass sie den jeweils Denkenden au er Betracht zieht; ein Denken also "bei dem es keinen Denkenden gibt". Dem setzt Kierkegaard im Gegenzug ein existenzielles Denken gegen ber; ein Denken, "bei dem es einen Denkenden gibt" und "bei dem die Existenz dem existierenden Denker den Gedanken, Zeit und Raum gibt". In dieser Arbeit soll es darum gehen, welche Gestalt und vor allem welche Bedeutung der Tod dem Menschen gegen ber in Kierkegaards Denken einnimmt. Wie sich zeigen wird, erreicht dabei die Reflexion ber den Tod bei ihm im Gegensatz zu Denkern vor ihm eine neuartige Qualit t, die sp ter Eingang in die Existenzphilosophie (insbesondere bei Martin Heidegger) finden wird. Es wird sich au erdem zeigen, welche vergleichsweise extrem individualisierte Position Kierkegaard zu dieser Sache vertritt.
