Die Grundlage fUr die Diagnostik der meisten dermatologischen Affektionen bleibt die Analyse der Krankheitsmorphen. Die scheinbar unerschopfliche Flihigkeit der Haut, Varianten der krankhaften Veriinderungen hervorzubringen, tiberfordert dabei den Nicht-Facharzt. Die Gefahr der Resignation ist groB und die Versuchung, auf die Diagnose zu verzichten und empirisch nur die Symptome zu behandeln, ist verlockend. Dadurch bleiben nicht nur viele "Signale" der Haut, z. B. tiber Erkrankungen an- derer Organe oder tiber Arzneinebenwirkungen, unverstanden, sondem auch das unbefriedigende Geftihl der Oberfliichlich- keit. 1m vorliegenden Beitrag wird versucht, dem Nicht-Dermatologen mit Hilfe eines Suchkatalogs - ohne Anspruch auf Vollstiindigkeit und mit der gebotenen Schematisierung - die Diagnose von hiiufi- gen oder zwar seltenen, aber in ihrer Aussage wichtigen Derma- tosen zu erleichtem. In einer eigenwilligen, der funktionellen und praktischen Betrachtungsweise entstammenden Gruppierung werden diese Dermatosen auch einzeln dargestellt. Ein besonde- res Anliegen war es, die diagnostischen und therapeutischen Grenzen des Nicht-Facharztes zu beriicksichtigen und durch Hin- weise auf eine sehr wtinschenswerte interdiszipliniire Kooperation die Moglichkeiten der Vertiefung aufzuzeigen. l Danken mochte ich in erster Linie meiner Frau und meinen Kin- dem, den "Hauptleidtragenden" dieses Beitrags, ftir das unter- sttitzende Verstiindnis.
