Aber hat man auch die andere Seite der Medaille kritisch gewürdigt? Zu einem Streit gehören immer zwei und Jacques Derrida hat für diese typischen Zwiste auf der Differenz genau den richtigen Begriffsapparat geliefert, oft nicht, ohne den schwächeren Partner zu bevorteilen, das freilich aus einer gänzlich und einmal erfrischend unamerikanischer Perspektive, wo diese doch selbst die "Schurken" sein sollen. Wird es eine einfache Lösung aus diesem Dilemma geben? Das natürlich nicht: aber die Arbeit soll helfen, dem Phänomen Terror/ismus in einer zusammenfassenden wie rückblickenden Geste näherzukommen, aus einem rezenten Kontext heraus. Tangiert wird dabei nicht nur die Geschichte von Gewalt, Aggression, Gesetz in wessen Form auch immer, ja bis zum Tod des Verfügenden eo ipso. Dabei kann natürlich auch ein religionswissenschaftlicher Vektor in der aktuellen Konstellation nicht au en vor gelassen werden. Der Terrorismus wird weiter Schule machen und hat sie gemacht, ob in der Wüste oder anderswo - man kann aber versuchen, ihm auf die Spur zu kommen, bevor er ausnahmslos, seiner Intention nach und durch die Naivität der Medien gefördert, alles durchdringt. Man hat ihn dann im strengen Sinne dekonstruiert.
