Mr. Brouillette's 25+ years of experience as a software engineer and educator allow him to bring a unique and refreshing perspective to the topic of data structures which is rigorous, accessible and practical. Material is presented in a 'top down' approach, beginning with explanations of why different data structures are used, continuing with clearly illustrated concepts of how the structures work, and ending with clear, neat Java code examples. Albert A. Brouillette has over 25 years of experience as an educator and as a software engineer. He has worked in the software industry as an employee for large corporations on DOD projects, and also as an entrepreneur, running his own software development company and creating a nationally recognized lighting design program. His academic interests include the application of artificial intelligence techniques to the improvement of education, and the development of improved teaching methods for undergraduate software engineering students.
