Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Geschichte Deutschlands - Neuere Geschichte, Note: 1,3, Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg (Neuere- und Neueste Geschichte), Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar Nachkriegsgesellschaften 1918-1960, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Infolge des Zweiten Weltkrieges schwappte die wohl grö te, durch Gewalt und Krieg heraufbeschworene Umsiedlungswelle über Europa hinweg, welche die Welt je gesehen hatte. Im Winter 1944/45 flohen die ersten Deutschen aus den osteuropäischen Gebieten gen Westen in das Kerngebiet des untergehenden Nazireichs. Millionen sollten ihnen folgen. Allein diese enorme Umsiedlungswelle, die die gesellschaftlichen Strukturen eines ganzen Landstriches vollkommen veränderte, ist Anlass genug sich mit dieser Thematik intensiv zu befassen. Meine Motivation ruht auf einem weiteren Aspekt, im Zuge dieser Arbeit habe ich mich tiefgreifend mit meiner persönlichen Familiengeschichte auseinandergesetzt. Meine Gro mutter, geboren in Westberlin am 21.11.1930 und aufgewachsen im schlesischen Raake, (heute Rakow/Polen) floh mit damals 14 Jahren, wie viele andere Deutsche, aus den ehemaligen Ostgebieten des Dritten Reichs. In stundenlangen Gesprächen ermöglichte mir meine Gru mutter einen Einblick in die Flüchtlings- und Vertriebenengeschichte den man nicht in Büchern finden kann. Sie berichtete mir in eindrucksvoller Weise, ohne Hass oder Verbitterung, aus einer subjektiven, persönlichen Sicht, die Geschehnisse. Ihre Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse sind bewusst mit in diese Arbeit eingeflossen um einen erweiterten Blickwinkel auf die deutschen Vertriebenen infolge des 2.Weltkrieges zu ermöglichen. Dieser Erlebnisschatz stellt nur einen Randaspekt dar, der durch seinen unterschwelligen Einfluss bereichern, aber nicht den Kern der Arbeit darstellen soll. Das Hauptaugenmerk dieser Ausarbeitung richtet sich auf die Vertriebenen, welche in Folge des Zweiten Weltkrieges ihre Heimat in den Ostgebieten des Dritten
