Dr. A.K. Jhingan, (b. 1949) M.B.B.S., M.D. Medicine, is working as Senior Consultant, Physician and Diabetologist in Jaipur Golden Hospital and a visiting Physician in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi. He is also attached with State Bank of India as a Senior Physician and Medical Advisor.Dr. Jhingan started working in the field of Diabetes since 1983. Dr. Jhingan has been instrumental in organising Diabetes Detection and Educational Camps in and around Delhi. Till date more than 120 such camps have been organised. He is also the head of Delhi Diabetes Research Centre and Juvinile Diabetes Association of India. Besides writing articles on diabetes in various newspapers and magazines he has also authored several books on diabetes.
