After being kidnapped by a psychopathic serial killer, Tracey Randall does not think she is going to survive:

As the story progresses, Tracey is no longer the victim the reader meets at the start of the novel; instead she becomes the driving force behind the capture of her tormentor.
As a police officer in a small New England town, Shawn Davis has the law enforcement experience to craft a suspenseful crime tale like no other. Shawn Davis grew up in the small town of Holliston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Salem State University, and he works as a police officer in a small New England town. He also worked as a police lieutenant at a New England College for eleven years. Shawn's background in law enforcement lends authenticity to his crime thrillers.
