Auf den ersten Blick klingt alles noch fabelhaft, jedoch bringt jede industrielle Revolution auch neue Veränderungen mit sich. Die dabei einhergehenden Auswirkungen auf die Logistik und die heutige Supply-Chain werden durch die bestehende Euphorie oftmals unbeachtet. Diese Studienarbeit befasst sich deshalb mit den bevorstehenden Auswirkungen auf die gesamte Logistik. Sie beinhaltet neben Prognosen eine Vielzahl von Videos, die jedes Kapitel begleiten. Nach einer allgemeinen Übersicht zur Entwicklung, mit Eckdaten zu den Eigenschaften, Definitionen und den Anwendungsfeldern, folgen die Funktionsweisen der unterschiedlichen 3D-Druckerarten. Anschlie end werden die heutige Einsatzgebiete und die Marktentwicklungen im privaten wie auch im industriellen Bereich aufgezeigt. Danach werden im Hauptteil, nach einer kurzen Einführung in die Logistik, die 3 wesentlichen Bestandteile der allgemeinen Logistik erläutert und unternehmensübergreifend betrachtet. Zusätzlich werden die Auswirkungen in einem eignen Fallbeispiel veranschaulicht. Der Ausblick und die Analyse runden diese Arbeit ab.
