Eine erschOpfende Behandlung diesel' Aufgabe wiirde sich einerseits auf Oberbau und Gleis in allen verschiedenen Ausfiihrungsarten beziehen miissen, sodann auf die Drehgestellkonstl'uktionen und die Verbindung zwischen Drehgestell und Wagenkasten und endlich auf die aufierst mannigfaltigen Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Gleis, Drehgestell und Wagenkasten. Urn den Umfang del' Arbeit zu beschranken, soll eiDe eingehende Behandlung von Oberbau und Gleis nicht vorgenommen werden.
