Bedenkt man, daB die Erforsehung dieses Gebietes der Humanmedizin sprunghafte Fortschritte maeht und daB der Mongolismus nieht nur innerhalb der ehromosomalen Aberrationen, sondern aueh im groBen Gebiet kindlicher Entwicklungsstarungen die numerisch graBte, bei aller Individualitat des Einzelfalles aber aueh einheitlichste Gruppe darstellt, so ist es verstandlich, daB sieh ein wesentlieher Teil der Tagung mit dieser Krankheit befaBte.
