Die Behandlung von 113 an metastasierendem Mammacarcinom erkrankten Frauen mit Nortestosteron-Phenylpropionat (Durabolin-Organon) ergab ein gün- stiges Resultat bei 40 Patientinnen (35,4%). 77 Patientinnen standen vorher unter Testosteronbehandlung, bis sich der Testosteron-Effekt erschöpft hatte. In diesen Fällen konnte mit Durabolin noch bei 35% ein günstiges Resultat erzielt werden. Unter 40 Patientinnen, die noch nicht mit Testosteron vorbehandelt waren, fanden sich 45% günstig reagierende Fälle. Die Dauer der Verbesserungen mit Nortesto- steron-Phenylpropionat betrug rund 10 Monate, auch wenn zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt Testosteronpräparate verabfolgt worden waren. Die Nebenwirkungen der Durabolin-Therapie waren unbedeutend. Eine gewisse Korrelation zwischen der Erniedrigung des oestrogenen Effektes im Vaginalausstrich und einer klini- schen Verbesserung scheint aus den bisherigen Befunden möglich zu sein. Nach sehr vorläufigen Erfahrungen hat Nortestosteron-Decanoat in 4 von 15 Patientinnen mit metastasierendem Brustcarcinom eine günstige Wirkung gezeigt. Literatur 1. GELLHORN, A.: Edit.
