Die Grundlagen der "Subjektiven Didaktik" sind Ergebnisse aus der Gehirnforschung und der Neurophysiologie, weiterhin die Grundthese des Konstruktivismus, dass Wissen nicht Wahrheit, sondern Konstruktion ist. Daraus ergeben sich ganz neue Konsequenzen für den Aufbau, das Wahrnehmen und das Kommunizieren von Wissen in Lern- und Bildungsprozessen. Mit Anregungen aus verschiedenen humanistischen Konzepten (z. B. Transaktionsanalyse - TA, Themenzentrierte Interaktion - TZI, Psychodrama -PD, Neurolinguistische Programmierung - NLP) knüpft sie ein Methoden-Netz, das lebendiges, selbstorganisiertes und selbstverantwortetes Lehren und Lernen ermöglichen und fördern kann. Die Annahme, Wissen könne wie eine Ware auf dem Bildungs-Tauschmarkt gehandelt und bewertet werden, erweist sich zunehmend - v. a. auch in multimedialen Kontexten - als falsch. Dies zeigten jetzt auch die aktuellen Bildungsforschungsprogramme, z. B. PISA. Wissen entsteht nicht durch Input-Output- und Transfer-Prozesse, sondern es ist die einmalige Konstruktion eines Individuums oder einer Gruppe. Kommunikation und Resonanzbildung sind die Grundlagen von Wissenskonstruktionen. Dass Wissen immer subjektiv konstruiert wird, ist eine wesentliche Aussage der "Subjektiven Didaktik". Sie entwirft eine neue Architektur des Wissens und erprobt Wege der gemeinsamen Konstruktionen. Dazu entwickelt sie Methoden der Verständigung und der Wissenskonstruktion.

Edmund Kösel, geboren 1935 im Allgäu, Dr. phil., Professor für Allgemeine Didaktik und Gruppenpädagogik an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg/Br. Volksschullehrerausbildung Promotion in Erziehungswissenschaften, Soziologie, Psychologie in München bei Prof. Dr. M. Keilhackern und Prof. Dr. Ph. Lersch. Aufbau des Lehrerkollegs in Bayern beim Bayerischen Fernsehen. Seit 1970 Professur an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg. Derzeitige Schwerpunkte in Lehre und Forschung Subjektive Didaktik Konstruktivismus und Systemtheorie in der Didaktik Didaktische Epistemologie Betriebliche Bildung als systemische Entwicklung Entwicklung postmoderner Lernkulturen Systemische Organisationsentwicklung im Non-profit-Bereich Die Subjektive Didaktik Edmund Kösel hat in seiner langjährigen Erfahrung mit Lehr und Lernprozessen in der Lehreraus- und Fortbildung einen großen Überblick über die Grundlagen des Lehrens und Lernens erarbeitet. Er hat sich mit den basalen Theorien über den Menschen, den sozialen Systemen in den Bildungssystemen und den neuesten Hirn-Forschungen beschäftigt und dazu eigene Erfahrungen im Bereich der humanistischen Pädagogik (Psychodramaleiter) gemacht. Dies alles hat ihn dazu ermuntert, eine eigene Theorie über das Lehren und Lernen zu entwickeln, die bereits viele Lehrende als Grundlage für ihre eigene Tätigkeit in Schule, Hochschule und besonders auch in der beruflichen Bildung heranziehen. Diese Theorie ist keine Rezeptur, sondern sie ist Reflexions- und Rechtfertigungshintergrund für eigene didaktische Entscheidungen.
