Jahrhunderts. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei die Narodniki und das Narodničestvo. In der russischsprachigen Literatur nimmt das Narodničestvo einen breiten Raum ein. Schon w hrend der zwanziger Jahre versuchte man die Bedeutung das Narodničestvo und besonders der "Narodnaja volja" in der Geschichte Russlands zu analysieren. In den f nfziger Jahren setzte man sich dann auch in Westeuropa mit dem Studium des Narodničestvo auseinander. Als es in Deutschland zu mehreren politisch motivierten Anschl gen durch die RAF kam, wurde das Interesse an der Herkunft solcher Attentate geweckt. Der Artikel die "Verschlechterung der Welt," erschienen zwei Monate nach dem Anschlag auf das World Trade Center, leitete ebenfalls ein neue Auseinandersetzung mit der Narodniki-Bewegung der siebziger Jahre des 19. Jahrhunderts ein. Die Aufgabe dieser Arbeit ist es die Entwicklung der Narodniki-Bewegung in den siebziger und zu Beginn der achtziger Jahre darzustellen. In dieser Zeit findet in der revolution ren Bewegung Russlands eine Radikalisierung statt. Die Entwicklung, von der sozialen Aufkl rung bis hin zum politischen Terror, vollzog sich dabei in drei Etappen. Im ersten Kapitel der Arbeit werden sowohl die Begriffe "Narodniki" und "Narodničestvo," als auch ihre theoretischen Grundlagen untersucht. Die folgenden drei Kapitel befassen sich mit der Radikalisierung der revolution ren Bewegung. Im Kapitel 2 wird zun chst die Periode der Propaganda auf dem Land analysiert. Der darauf folgende Abschnitt befasst sich mit der Organisation "Zemlja i volja." N her untersucht wird dabei die unterschiedliche revolution re Arbeit der Mitglieder.
