Und wenn ja, wie mu vorgegangen werden, um persönliche Ziele zu erreichen und um mehr Erfolg zu haben? Es gibt viele Studien, in denen die Auswirkung von Zielen auf die Leistung von Menschen untersucht wurde. Herausgefunden wurde, da die Art und Weise, Ziele zu setzen, sich in der Höhe der Leistung widerspiegelt, wobei das Hauptaugenmerk der Untersuchungen darauf gerichtet wurde, welche Spezifikationen von Zielen (schwierig oder leicht, genau oder grob, unter Zeitdruck oder nicht, usw.) zu einer besseren Leistung führten. Die Ergeb-nisse der Untersuchungen hiel-ten vor allem in den 60'er und 70'er Jahren unter dem Namen "Management by Objectives" einen rasanten Einstieg in die Welt der Wirtschaft. Was in bisherigen Studien weniger beachtet wurde, war, inwieweit ein Mensch eine gesteigerte Leistung tatsächlich als Erfolg wahrnimmt. Hierbei ist zu unterscheiden zwischen dem objektiven Erfolg, der bei der Zielerrei-chung eintritt und direkt me bar ist, und dem subjektiven Erfolg, der von der Wahrnehmung und Verarbeitung von Ereignissen durch einen Menschen abhängt. Im Mittelpunkt dieser Arbeit stehen daher der Mensch, der sich seine Ziele in Abhängigkeit von seinen individuellen persönlichen Voraussetzungen selbst setzt, und die Faktoren, die durch Ziele oder in Kombination mit Zielen den Erfolg beeinflussen. In dieser Arbeit werden nicht nur die eingangs gestellten Fragen beantwortet, sondern vor allem einen Überblick über die einzelnen Aspekte gegeben, die für die Wirkung von Zielen auf den persönlichen Erfolg relevant sind.
