Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Persönlichkeitspsychologie, Note: 1, Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (Psychologie), Veranstaltung: Abteilung für klinische Psychologie, Psychotherapie und Psychoanalyse, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Träume haben die Menschen seit jeher fasziniert, weil sie uns Nacht für Nacht in eine Welt versetzen, die wir als wirklich erleben und die wir erst nach dem Aufwachen als Phantasie erkennen, wenn wir uns denn überhaupt an sie erinnern. Jeder träumt, und zwar mehrfach pro Nacht. Auch diejenigen, die behaupten, selten oder gar nie zu träumen, träumen! Träume sind überaus facettenreich, sie können vertraut oder fremdartig, emotional oder neutral, bunt oder grau, undeutlich oder klar, bruchstückhaft oder kohärent, bizarr oder alltäglich sein. Was ist das Ziel dieser Forschungsarbeit, wozu dient sie? Die Ergebnisse können als Beitrag zur psychologischen Beratung angesehen werden, eventuell auch nützlich für Traumdeutung im psychotherapeutischen Kontext. Träumen, dieses erstaunliche Phänomen eines scheinbaren (oder doch irgendwie realen?) Erlebens im Schlaf führen zu grundsätzlichen Fragen, die die Menschen schon immer bewegten: Warum träumen Menschen - welche Funktionen haben Träume? Was sagen Träume ganz konkret über einen Menschen und seine jeweilige Situation aus? Sind Träume hilfreich zur Bewältigung des Lebens generell oder des Alltagslebens? Mein Ziel ist es, durch diese Diplomarbeit: im theoretischen Teil aktuelle Interpretationsmodelle darzustellen und Kontroversen, die sie verursachen, aufzuzeigen; sowie im empirischen Teil durch Befragung und Analyse der Antworten einen Einblick zu geben, wie Auskunftspersonen im Alltag Träume erleben, was sie mit ihnen assoziieren und ob sie - direkt oder indirekt - davon Auswirkungen auf ihr Alltagserleben spüren.
