Industrielle Genossenschaften spielen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Schaffung von Erwerbsm�glichkeiten f�r benachteiligte Bev�lkerungsgruppen, darunter Handwerker, Arbeiter und Tagel�hner in l�ndlichen Gebieten. Sie helfen zudem den Bauern, die Tee und Tapioka anbauen, angemessene Preise f�r ihre Erzeugnisse zu erzielen. Zudem werden Kleinst- und Kleinunternehmer durch die Bereitstellung von Werkst�tten, erschlossenen Grundst�cken und infrastrukturellen Einrichtungen f�r den Betrieb ihrer Betriebe unterst�tzt. Rund 322 solcher industrieller Genossenschaften wurden in wichtigen Wirtschaftszweigen wie Tee, Sago, Streichh�lzer, Kokosfasern, Bankwesen, Polyethylen, Handwerk, Schneiderei, Kfz-Service, Industrieparks, Maschinenbau, Ziegelherstellung usw. gegr�ndet.
