Es ist im Juli 1932 von der NSDAP - bzw. Heinz Franke - herausgegeben und für die Reichstagswahlen genutzt worden. Ziel ist herauszuarbeiten, welche Botschaft und intendierte Wirkung sich hinter diesem politischen Plakat verbergen. Um die Botschaft des Plakats richtig verstehen und deuten zu können, muss man sich zunächst einen Überblick über den zeitlichen Kontext verschaffen, in dem das Plakat entstand. Es wird daher untersucht, welche politische, wirtschaftliche Situation 1932 unmittelbar vor den Reichstagswahlen in der Weimarer Republik herrschte. Anschlie end wird das nationalsozialistische Plakat 'Wir Arbeiter sind erwacht' beschrieben und einzelne Aspekte analysiert. Schlie lich wird das Wahlplakat interpretiert. Nach der Untersuchung dieser Darstellung, soll versucht werden, aus ihr die tatsächliche und intendierte Wirkung des Plakats zu erschlie en. Lassen sich daraus letztendlich Rückschlüsse für die nationalsozialistische Wahlpropaganda ziehen?
