Seitdem versucht die Humanistische Psychotherapie mit Wirksamkeitsbelegen eine sozialrechtliche Anerkennung zu erzielen. Die Gremien des Wissenschaftlichen Beirat Psychotherapie (WBP) und der Gemeinsame Bundesausschuss (G-BA) lehnen jedoch verschiedene Studien und Meta-Analysen aufgrund fehlender wissenschaftlicher Prüfung ab. Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt eine metaanalytische Untersuchung von 46 kontrolliert randomisierten Primärstudien dar. Die Studien wurden gemä dem Methodenpapier des Wissenschaftlichen Beirat Psychotherapie auf ihre wissenschaftliche Qualität geprüft und hinsichtlich der relativen und differentiellen Effektivität untersucht. Darüber hinaus wird die Effektivität in drei der 12 Indikationsbereichen des Wissenschaftlichen Beirat Psychotherapie getestet.
