Ebenso entscheidend nimmt die Digitalisierung auch Einfluss auf Führung. Führungskräfte finden sich in einer Umwelt wieder, die sich durch Volatilität, Unsicherheit, Komplexität und Ambiguität auszeichnet. Die Dynamik bzw. Geschwindigkeit der Märkte nimmt zu und Unternehmen müssen sich digitalisieren, um sich den neuen Anforderungen anzupassen. Derzeit wird dies unter dem Begriff der digitalen Transformation diskutiert. So werden neue Führungskonzepte benötigt - hin zu der Agilität einer Organisation, welche neue Methoden nutzt und die Selbstorganisation der Mitarbeiter fördert. Zugleich wird eine grö ere Vernetzung, Offenheit, Partizipation und Vertrauen in Richtung Mitarbeiter gefordert. Denn das Unternehmen braucht die Innovationskraft der Mitarbeiter, um zukunfts- und wettbewerbsfähig bleiben zu können. Diese Masterthesis beschäftigt sich mit den Veränderungen, die durch die Digitalisierung ausgelöst worden sind und mit dem Einfluss eben jener auf Führung. Zugleich wird beleuchtet, wie die Unternehmensführung die digitale Transformation der Organisation erfolgreich gestalten kann. Schlie lich wird anhand einer Literaturrecherche ein Kompetenzprofil vorgestellt, das die neuen Anforderungen an die Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten einer digitalen Führungskraft darstellt.

Irena Marasek blickt auf eine langjährige Tätigkeit im Personalbereich zurück und ist derzeit als Human Resources Manager eines Medienunternehmens beschäftigt - einer Branche, die erheblich durch die digitale Transformation betroffen ist.
