This is because using the names of the Egyptian Deities is a religious act. Each name contains their Power, and by wielding this power you can influence and manipulate Natural Forces to your will. The later religions - of monotheism like Christianity or Islam - have Egyptian religion in their base elements unknowingly. Communicating the Names of any Egyptian Deity is a prayer in and of itself. The Deities will recognize their names despite the language that follows. Usually the name means the action which results, such as Ra means Sunlight, Tefnut means moisture, Amen or Shu means Air or wind, and Horus means Sky, etc. The basic inscription is: "Dua (praise) ____ (Deity Name), Suten di Hotepu Neferu (the King gives excellent offerings) Ankh Djet (lives forever)." In this book are Egyptian Magic Spells for Attraction, Protection, Healing, Upholding Ma'at (Governing), and the Afterlife. Some Archaeological Theories on the Osiris-Jesus/Djed-Ka-Ra Isesi identity are included, along with the Egyptian origins for Christmas.

Horus Michael follows the training of Ancient Egyptian Priests in his varied works on the Occult. He also studies Egyptian Archaeology. He currently lives in California, USA.
