Children experience a respectful and realistic view of the importance of athletic trainers in keeping active children and adults stay healthy at work and at play. The book can be read alone by older readers or in a story time group to younger readers.

The authors are mother and son. Marsha Grant-Ford, ATC, PhD, has been certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association for 40 years. She is a practicing clinician in a variety of practice setting and is a college professor in an accredited athletic training education program. Jonathan Ford brings a unique perspective having been raised by two athletic trainer parents. He is now a senior in high school and has been comfortable in a variety of practice setting throughout his life. He is ecstatic to contribute to a body of work that definitively explains what his parents do.
