Wenn ich im Jahre 1948 die Einladung des Verbandes Deutscher Drogisten, an der Neuherausgabe eines Lehrbuches flir Drogisten mitzuarbeiten, freudigen Herzens annahm, so geschah es vor allem aus dem Bestreben heraus, den jun= gen Angehorigen des Berufsstandes zu helfen und ihnen nach dem verlorenen Kriege wieder eine Fachliteratur in die Hand zu geben, die ihnen die fachliche Ausbildung erleichtert. In Anbetracht der Kiirze des Raumes und der Kiirze der Zeit konnten natiirlich nur die hauptsachlichsten und wichtigsten Themen in der ersten Auflage be= handelt werden. Die Neuauflage hat nun in vielen Abschnitten eine wesent= liche Erweiterung erfahren. Damit ist dem Wunsche vieler Interessenten ent= sprochen worden, und ich mochte allen denen danken, die durch ihre sachver= standigen Hinweise zur weiteren Ausgestaltung des Buches beigetragen haben. Mein spezieller Dank gebiihrt Herm Akademiedirektor Dipl.=lng.
