Ralph Hauptmann, Jahrgang 1965, studierte ursprünglich Anglistik, Romanistik, Keltologie und vergleichende Sprachwissenschaften und war danach einige Jahre als Dozent für Englische Sprache und Englische und Irische Geschichte tätig. 1991 verließ er die Universität, studierte Betriebswirtschaft im Fernstudium und arbeitete danach für mehr als zwanzig Jahre zunächst als Dozent für betriebliches Rechnungswesen und Controlling, später dann als Berater vorrangig für Unternehmen aus dem Freizeitbereich. Schon früh entdeckte er das Schreiben für sich als eine Möglichkeit, sich auch nach seinem Ausscheiden aus dem Universitätsleben mit seiner großen Lei-denschaft, den Kelten zu beschäftigen. Im September 2012 erschien sein illustriertes Sachbuch "HERRSCHER DER EISENZEIT. Die Kelten - Auf den Spuren einer geheimnisvollen Kultur" beim Wilhelm Heyne Verlag (eBook Mai 2013). "DRUNEMETON - Das Buch des Druiden" ist sein erster historischer Roman. Ralph Hauptmann lebt in Lissabon und arbeitet dort als Personaltrainer für ein internationales Unternehmen.
