Die Anfangs mangelnde Integration von Migranten in die Gesellschaft wurde auf den Deutschunterricht abgew lzt oder durch zus tzlichen Deutschf rderungsunterricht angeboten. Die gew nschten Effekte blieben jedoch lange aus, sodass ein neuer Umschwung bedacht wurde. Heutzutage findet in jeder Unterrichtseinheit eine Vielfalt von sprachlichen Interaktionen statt, das zugleich zeigt, dass jeder Fachunterricht gleichzeitig auch immer ein Sprachunterricht sein muss. Diese Form zielt darauf ab, die bildungssprachlichen F higkeiten der SuS auszubauen. Man versucht hier, nicht den ganzen Unterricht zu ver ndern, sondern zus tzliche F rderungen in den Unterricht einflie en zu lassen. Man fand einen Kompromiss, in dem der Fachunterricht und zus tzliche sprachliche Bildung gleichzeitig verliefen. So entwickelte sich der Begriff der durchg ngigen Sprachbildung. Wenn wir uns den Begriff genauer anschauen, bemerken wir zwei Ph nomene dieser Verbindung: einerseits das Adjektiv durchg ngig (von Anfang bis Ende durchgehend) und sprachliche Bildung. In diesem Leitbegriff wird die Sprache allerdings nicht als Unterrichtsgegenstand eines spezifischen Fachunterrichts verstanden, sondern als Medium des Lernens und in weiterer Perspektive auch als Medium des Handelns in einer sprachteiligen Gesellschaft. Bei der durchg ngigen Sprachbildung geht es also um eine sinnvolle Verkn pfung des sprachlichen und fachlichen Unterrichts, die im Fachunterricht f r die konkreten Gegenst nde relevant ist. Im Fachunterricht muss also zwischen alltagssprachlicher und fachsprachlicher Sprachverwendung unterschieden werden. Tajmel betont auch die Wichtigkeit der Wortschatzer
