An account of history and the future. Topics on physics, chemistry, nutrition, biology are treated in a simplified form using analogies and easy-to-understand language. Humans destroy nature and re-invent it. Written in a poetic and simplified style full with analogies, it outlines the history of the universe and of mankind and of the physical and social sciences and philosophy. It offers rational explanations of physical laws of gravity, inertia and light as well as a rational answer to the circular question of how a creator god came to be without being created. Lives of famous people real and imaginary like the one who tamed fire, the builder of the pyramids, Buddha, Attila, Khan, Gutenberg, Luther, Galileo, Adam Smith, Marx, Hitler, and the developers of new technologies in our future as well as the creator of new-man are described. Topics on physics, chemistry, nutrition, biology are treated in a simplified form using analogies and easy-to-understand language. This short science fiction fantasy is very useful for improving your English. A wide range of topics are dealt with in an easy to read way. The reader is introduced to specialized vocabulary in a context that is educational and entertaining. A wide range of topics are cover from the sciences, economics, and history to religion and philosophy. Synonyms and antonyms are used and sentences are written in a way to help the reader be able to discover the meaning of words himself. Specialized words, not used in every day speech, are printed in bold and are listed in the back of the book in a table with the translations. There are about 3,000 words listed with each page averaging 20 words. The listed words are ordered in same order as you read them for ease and convenience.

Andrew Vecsey was born in Hungary in 1949, educated in Canada, and has been living in Switzerland for the past 20 years. He is a retired engineer who has traveled world wide and now teaches English.
