Eddy A Davis Finn Mystery Volume 9 Welcome to the ninth episode of the exciting Davis Finn Mystery Series. In "Eddy", Finn chases across the Northeast to catch a possessed serial killer who thinks he is the infamous "Jack the Ripper", who was credited with the "Conical Five" murders in London, England's Whitechapel Murder Investigation in the late nineteenth century. In their chess game of hunter and prey, Davis Finn matches wits with the "Fenway Five" serial killer in today's Boston, Massachusetts, and Maine, and uncovers a multi-generational family of serial killers who model their slayings after the Ripper's "Conical Five" murders to terrorize victims, and increase their number of kills. In his cat-and-mouse game with the "Fenway Five" serial killer, Finn also uses the skills he gained while working for London's famed Scotland Yard Police Department as a detective when he solved the "Ipswich Murders", and earned his title as "America's Sherlock Holmes". Unfortunately, his actions also earned him a forced retirement from "The Yard", one that was demanded by England's royal family. Finn weaves his knowledge of the Ripper case, his intuition, deductive reasoning skills, and intellect, to unravel a mysterious series of events, and to try to prevent his fiancé, Maria Hanover, from becoming the "Fenway Five" serial killer's seventh victim. "The game is afoot" between Finn and his adversary, and murder, danger, and surprises rule each day in their chess match of intrigue. Please come along with Finn as he encounters an adventure filled with action, passion, love, revenge, hatred, grisly murders, heartbreak, dangerous plots that twist and turn, the shadow of Jack the Ripper, blood-curdling encounters, and a surprise ending. Hal Graff holds a doctorate in business administration, and is a professor of business. He is a native of Gibson City, Illinois. His diverse career has included stints as a professional baseball player, an insurance agent holding twelve professional designations, a sales manager, a business owner, a farm owner, and an author. He is a proud father and grandfather. Hal has appeared on television as a member of a Blues Brothers singing act, and has enjoyed many fishing, hunting, and scuba diving adventures worldwide. His travels have taken him to many interesting places, including Spain and Cuba, which have helped in the writing of his novels. To date, he has written and published 26 political espionage / mystery novels in the Harold Gatewood political espionage / mystery series, and 9 novels in the Davis Finn historical fiction / mystery / thriller / series. Hal started his writing career in July, 2015. This is his thirty-fifth novel.
