About The Book

About The Author

Prof. V.R. Taneja, M.A. (English & History), after his gold-medalist academic career, earned his Research Degree in Education with distinction from the University of London and won Holroyed TyDeman Prize. He has long experience of teaching education in the capacity of Principal, College of Education, Jullundhar and Chandigarh. He remained for a pretty long time Professor and Head, Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh and retired as a Dean, Faculty of Education, Jammu University, Jammu in 1981.

Prof. Taneja was closely associated with the educational schemes and programmes launched by U.G.C., N.C.E.R.T. and served as an expert in the Selection Committees of U.P.S.C. He has authored more than a dozen books in Education and published about a hundred of articles and papers in reputed journals.

Mrs. S. Taneja, wife of Professor V.R. Taneja, had long teaching experience at Government College of Education, Chandigarh.
