About The Book

Le monde sans eau est inimaginable et la demande d'eau propre augmente rapidement pour la survie de tous les �tres vivants. Un acc�s ad�quat � l'eau potable est discutable pour une personne sur six vivant aujourd'hui. Le pr�sent travail se concentre donc sur le traitement de l'eau contamin�e par des polluants organiques et industriels toxiques par le biais de la photocatalyse. Les nanoparticules d'oxyde d'�tain (SnO2) synth�tis�es par co-pr�cipitation ont �t� pr�f�r�es comme catalyseur pour mener des exp�riences de photod�gradation. La structure cristallographique et les param�tres cellulaires ont �t� calcul�s � partir des donn�es XRD. La structure t�tragonale et rutile a un param�tre de cellule calcul� a=b=4,735 nm et c=3,185 nm. Selon la formule de Scherer, la taille cristalline moyenne est de 11,40 nm. Une �tude thermogravim�trique a �t� r�alis�e pour le pr�cipit� avant la calcination afin de comprendre les r�actions thermochimiques qui se produisent pendant la calcination. Enfin, l'activit� photocatalytique a �t� men�e contre le colorant standard, le bleu de m�thyl�ne. La concentration optimale de 10-4M de solution de bleu de m�thyl�ne a �t� d�grad�e progressivement � l'aide du photocatalyseur SnO2 sous irradiation UV. Le maximum d'absorption a �t� enregistr� pour diff�rents intervalles d'irradiation UV.
