Das vorliegende Buch geht aus einer Wahl vorlesung hervor, die ich seit 1986 an der Fachhochschule München halte. Es wendet sich an Studierende der Fachrichtungen Nachrich- tentechnik, Me technik und Informatik, und an bereits in der Industrie tätige Ingenieure, die einen Einblick in das moderne Gebiet der digitalen Signalverarbeitung ge- winnen wollen. Als Voraussetzung für das Verständnis des Textes genügt die Kenntnis der Integral- und Differentialrechnung und der komplexen Wechselstromrechnung. Bei der digitalen Signalverarbeitung werden analoge Si- gnale abgetastet und im Analog-Digital-Wandler in eine binäre Zahlenfolge umgesetzt. Durch numerische Verarbei- tung dieser Zahlenfolge lassen sich lineare und nichtli- neare Prozesse, wie z. B. Filterung, Fourieranalyse, Modulation, Demodulation und Gleichrichtung realisieren. Im Digital-Analog-Wandler kann die veränderte Zahlenfolge schlie lich wieder in ein analoges Signal umgewandelt werden. Auf Grund der digitalen Verarbeitung sind diese Systeme unempfindlich gegen Änderungen der Bauelementewerte, der Temperatur und Versorgungsspannung und gegen Störungen und Alterung. Die Eigenschaften eines Systems können in kurzen Zeitabständen verändert werden. Adaptive Systeme, die sich schnell an neue Situationen anpassen müssen, sind nur digital zu realisieren. Die erreichbare Genauig- keit hängt von der Anzahl der zur ZahlendarsteIlung ver- wendeten BinärsteIlen ab. 4 In diesem Buch werden einführend die Verfahren zur Be- schreibung analoger (zeitkontinuierlicher) Signale und Systeme kurz erläutert: Fourieranalyse, Fourier- und La- placetransformation, Faltung, Korrelation.
