Bislang lag keine Einf�hrung vor, die in deutscher Sprache mit didaktischem Anspruch in die feministische Politikwissenschaft und die politikwissen- schaftliche Geschlechterforschung einwies. Nach �ber drei ig Jahren wissen- schaftlicher Diskussion ist es an der Zeit, diese L�cke im Lehrbuchbereich zu f�llen. Das vorliegende Buch liefert dazu einen ersten Beitrag, dem hoffent- lich weitere folgen werden. Wohl sind in den letzten Jahren mehrere deutschsprachige Sammelb�nde zur feministischen Politikwissenschaft erschienen, die mit dem Begriff, Ein- f�hrung" untertitelt sind. Allerdings handelt es sich zumeist um Zusammen- stellungen spezialisierter Texte, in die bestenfalls im Eingangsaufsatz in knapper Form eingef�hrt wird. Eine erste Ausnahme stellt der 2000 von Kathrin Braun u.a. herausgegebene Band "Feministische Perspektiven der Politikwissenschaft" dar, erschienen in der Oldenbourg-Reihe "Lehr- und Handb�cher der Politikwissenschaft". Auch dieser Band b�ndelt mehrere selbstst�ndige Texte, die nach vier Themen gruppiert sind. Jedem Themen- block ist ein einleitender Text vorangestellt, welcher die nachfolgenden Bei- tr�ge einordnet und ihr Verst�ndnis erleichtert. Der Band folgt damit im We- sentlichen dem Design angloamerikanischer Reader. Das hier vorliegende Buch setzt den Anspruch einer Einf�hrung insofern noch weiter um, als alle, kapitelweise aufgenommenen Themen einf�hrend dargestellt werden. Es bietet durchgehend didaktische Elemente und weist konsequent auf thematische Querverbindungen zwischen den Kapiteln hin, so dass innerhalb des Buches nachgeschlagen werden kann.
