Julio Antonio Viera Ibarra es médico y neurorradiólogo intervencionista, formado entre Venezuela y Alemania. Durante años ha trabajado en el cruce entre la medicina de alta complejidad, la migración y la experiencia humana del desarraigo.

Como autor, escribe sobre el exilio, la memoria, la familia y las heridas -visibles e invisibles- que deja la diáspora. Diáspora: raíces que duelen es una obra de no ficción nacida desde la experiencia personal y la observación crítica, donde emigrar no aparece como una elección romántica, sino como una fractura que atraviesa generaciones.
