Balbir KUMAR, Ph.D. (IIT Delhi), has been Additional Director at Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, Delhi (2009–2011). Earlier, he served (2006–2009) as Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Delhi. He was with Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Delhi from 1988–2005, and held various positions such as Head of the Department, Dean, and Director of the Institute. He was the founder Director, Guru Premsukh Memorial College of Engineering, Delhi (2000–2002); and Director, HMR Institute of Technology and Management, Delhi (2005–2006).
A life fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and IETE; a senior member of IEEE, USA; and a life member of ISTE, Professor Kumar has published more than 77 technical papers in national and international journals of repute. His area of interest is analog and digital signal processing. He is also the author of another book titled Signals and Systems.

SHAIL B. JAIN, Ph.D. (University of Delhi), is Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, GGSIP University, Delhi. Since March 2012, she is the Professor-in-charge, PG Studies at IGIT. She has over 31 years of teaching experience at Delhi College of Engineering.
A life fellow of IETE and a senior member of IEEE, USA, Professor Jain is a co-author of a book on Linear Integrated Circuits. She has published 30 technical papers in national and international journals. Her field of interest is analog, linear integrated circuits and digital signal processing.
