Elektrische Biosignale in der Medizintechnik ist eine breit angelegte Einf�hrung in ein zunehmend wichtiger werdendes Thema. Inhaltlich wurde dieser Band im Vergleich zur Erstausgabe "Biosignalverarbeitung" um ein Sensorkapitel (galvanische und kapazitive Sensoren) sowie exemplarische experimentelle Daten erweitert. Neu ist auch das Kapitel 7: "Stochastische Prozesse" mit ausgew�hlten Themen wie Statistische Analyse von Zeitreihen, Signaldetektion und Signalzerlegung. Weiterhin wurden diverse vor allem elektronische Messschaltungen und Berechnungen den ge�nderten gesetzlichen Vorschriften und Normen angepasst sowie einige Berechnungsfehler korrigiert.

Der Inhalt orientiert sich an der Abfolge der messtechnischen und signalanalytischen Kette: - Neuron als Signalquelle - Sensorik - Signalverst�rkung und -konditionierung - Signalabtastung und -digitalisierung - Methoden der Biosignalverarbeitung - Biostatistik und stochastische Prozesse.
