Der Begriff "Elektronik" (electronics) ist recht jung und seine Definition nicht einheitlich. Da die schnelle Weiterentwicklung der elektronischen Technik standig neue Schaltungen, Rohren und Beispiele bringt, fehlen in dies em Buch die sonst iiblichen GroBenangaben in den Schaltungen, die nach kurzer Zeit iiberholt waren. Dem Physiker sollen in dieser neuartigen Zusammenstellung die gebrauchlichen Losungen elek- tronischer Probleme mit wichtigen Berechnungsunterlagen ge- zeigt werden, wie sie beim experimentellen Arbeiten standig auf- treten. Das sonst iibliche miihsame Durchsehen zahlreicher Lite- ratur solI damit vermieden werden. Obwohl der Stoff sehr konzentriert und nicht in der konven- tionellen lehrbuchartigen Form dargeboten ist, kann sich auch der Ungeiibte in die Materie einarbeiten, und Einzelprobleme lassen sich rasch finden und verstehen.
