Das vorliegende Buch beschreibt den Aufbau und die Funktionsweise zahlreicher Bauelemente soweit, wie es fur eine praktisch sinnvolle Anwendung erforderlich ist. In entsprechender Weise werden auch in der Praxis die Betriebseigenschaften durch Kenndaten und Kennlinien beschrieben, die der Hersteller im sogenannten Datenblatt zusammenstellt. Dieses Datenblatt enthiilt auch bestimmte Grenzwerte und Grenziinien, deren Oberschreitung entweder zu einer Beschiidigung oder zu einem unsicheren Betrieb des jeweiligen Bauelementes flihren kann. Bei der Dimensionierung von Schaltungen sind die Grenzwerte daher besonders zu beachten. Die Schaltungsbeispiele in diesem Buch beziehen sich auf hiiufig vorkommende Anwendungen. Die Be- rechnungen dazu sind von grundsiitzlicher Art und konnen bei Variation der Parameter leicht auf analoge Fiille tibertragen werden. Zahlreiche weitere Beispiele mit LOsungen findet der Leser in dem Band Rechentibungen zur angewandten Elektronik von E. Bohmer, der ebenfalls im Vieweg-Verlag erschienen ist. In diesem Zusammenhang sei auch auf den Anhang des vorliegenden Buches verwiesen, der angelegt ist als kleines Nachschlagekapitel. Man findet dort Werk- stoffkenndaten, Bezeichnungen und Kennzeichnungen. Es folgt eine Einflihrung in die Grundbegriffe der Halbleitertechnologie und in die Herstellung von Leiterplatten. Das anschlieEende Blindwiderstands- Frequenz-Diagramm - im LabOljargon HF-Tapete - erlaubt schnelle tiberschliigige Berechnungen bei allen Schaltungen mit Kapazitiiten und Induktivitiiten. Der Frequenzgang von Re- und RL-Zweipolen sowie die speziellen Eigenschaften von Schwingkreisen werden gesondert dargestellt. Die im Anhang ebenfalls aufgeflihrten KenngroEen zu Wechsel- und Mischstromen muE jeder Elektroni- ker beherrschen, ebenso die Verhiiltnisdarstellung nach dem Dezibelsystem. Die Begriffe RauschmaE und Rauschzahl interessieren ihn nur beim Aufbau von Verstiirkern fUr sehr schwache Signale.
