She has a BS in Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and taught for twenty years in California high schools at all levels, with students of differing abilities and backgrounds. Raised in Kentucky, she was a product of public schools there. Now retired, she lives in California, near her two daughters and their families. Gardening, painting and reading are her pastimes.
