Mark Leighton-Jones grew up in North Wales living in a small village by the name of Rhyd-Y-Foel. Growing up in Wales his whole life he has used places that he visits and knows well as the setting of his Horror novels. His first and favorite story teller was his grandfather. Dr Bryan Jones who would sit Mark down when he was a young boy and attempt to scare him with his horror tales. It did not work. Mark loved his stories and often would ask for more after his grandfather finished his tales. Since then Mark has devoted his life to writing. Writing in his spare time. With the dream that one day he would be a published author. That dream came true with his debut novel The House which was published in March 2016. Mark lives with his partner Jessie and their three lovable Siberian huskies. They are members of a Husky rescue charity called 8 Below Husky Rescue which aids huskies in finding their forever homes.
