K M Murray grew up in a small town of Reevesville, South Carolina. In 2000, she quit her job to return home to assist in the care of her grandmother, who was diagnosed with Dementia. In adjusting to a different lifestyle and all the conflicting emotions, writing became a release. This is her first book. At that time she juggled working part-time tutoring children for an after school program. Her love and passion for education led her to pursue a teaching degree. She has a BS in Early Childhood and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading. Her hobbies include writing, reading, dancing, and cooking. Currently she is married and is working on her second book.
