1. Einleitend wurden die mathematischen Grundlagen für die Bestimmung der Wärmeleitfähigkeit aufgezeigt. Sodann wurden die prinzipiellen Möglichkeiten zur experimentellen Ermittlung der Wärmeleitfähigkeit behandelt. 2. Eine Apparatur zur Messung der Wärmeleitfähigkeiten feuerfester Materialien bei hohen Temperaturen wurde entwickelt. Diese arbeitet nach dem absoluten Zylinder-Verfahren mit S hutzring-Anwendung. Die Prüfkörpersäule ist von einem Ofen umgeben, durch dessen elektrische Beheizung das Wärmegefälle im Prüfkörper beliebig klein gehalten werden kann. Die Prüfanordnung steht senkrecht, damit der Ofen bei der thermischen Belastung nicht noch eine zusätzliche mechanische erfährt, und damit sich das Temperaturfeld koachsial einstellen kann. Die notwendige Temperaturkonstanz wird in der Versuchsanord- nung auf folgende Weise erreicht: a) Ein Spannungskonstanthalter sorgt für eine gleichmä ige Leistungs- abgabe an den zentralen Heizer. b) Ein Schutzschirm um den Ofen verhindert einen zeitlich untGr- schiedlichen Wärmeabtransport von der Ofenau enwand (etwa durch Zugwind) . Eine sorgfältige Abdichtung des Ofens verhindert eine Schornstein- wirkung in der Anordnung und gewährleistet somit einen konstanten Wärmeflu . - Die entwickelte Apparatur macht speziell geformte Prüf- körper erforderlich, die in einer eigens hierf;ir gebauten Form her- gestellt werden können. 3. In der Apparatur wurde die thermokonstante Zone ausgemessen. Auf Grund dieser Messungen konnte der zentralo Heizer konstruiert werden. 4. Zur Erprobung der Apparatur wurden zahlreiche Versuche unternommen, mit deren Ergebnissen eine Arbeitsvorschrift für die Versuchsvorbe- reitung und Durchführung aufgestellt werden konnte. Ebenso wurde ein spezielles Verfahren zur Auswertung, der Versuche entwickelt, wodurch "systematische Fehler" ausgeschaltet werden können.
