Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung eines Adapters, der den nachträglichen Einbau von elektronischen Geräten in Fahrzeugen mit CAN-Bus-Technik ermöglichen soll. Es entspricht dem Wesen der CAN-Bus-Technik, dass nachträgliche Veränderungen am Fahrzeug nur mit der exakten Kenntnis der Datenstruktur möglich sind. So findet man in vielen aktuellen Fahrzeugen keinen geschalteten Zündstrom mehr, wie er früher in der Fahrzeugelektrik über Klemme 15 oder der Schaltung ACC abgegriffen werden konnte. Vielmehr ist die Stellung des Zündschlüssels bzw. die Information „Zündung an" lediglich als Dateninformation am CAN-Bus zu finden. Es ist anzunehmen, dass auch weiterhin ein Markt für Zubehörelektronik existieren wird, wie z.B. Alarmsysteme, Navigationssysteme, Freisprecheinrichtungen oder ähnlichen Geräten. Der Verbau dieser Geräte ist künftig nur dann in einem wirtschaftlich vertretbaren Rahmen möglich, wenn entsprechende Adaptionen den Einbau erleichtern. Bei entsprechender Produktgestaltung kann gegenüber dem Ist-Zustand sogar eine Verbesserung eintreten, wenn beim Einbau der direkte Datenabgriff am CAN-Bus aufwändige Eingriffe an unterschiedlichen Kabelsträngen des Fahrzeugs erspart. Der im Rahmen dieser Diplomarbeit entwickelte CAN-Bus-Adapter für spezielle Anforderungen der Fahrzeuganbindung soll neben der einwandfreien technischen Funktionalität auch eine deutliche Reduzierung des derzeitigen Einbauaufwands sicherstellen.
