Dabei gewinnen Projekte zunehmend an Bedeutung als ein Instrument, um den institutionellen Wandel in einer effizienten und effektiven Weise zu konkretisieren und umzusetzen. Projektarbeit wird hier als probates Mittel gesehen, um den komplexen Problemen der Pflegeeinrichtungen zu begegnen. Bei der hier vorliegenden Projektarbeit handelt es sich um eine Hausarbeit der Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, Studiengang Pflegemanagement, im Studienfach Methoden und Techniken. So schildert diese Hausarbeit exemplarisch die Durchführung eines Projektes, kombiniert mit einer im Text kontinuierlich vorgenommenen Projektreflexion. Thematisch wird dargestellt, wie innerhalb eines Projektes ein Instrument entwickelt wurde, nämlich ein Fragebogen zur Ermittlung der Arbeitszufriedenheit, dessen späterer Einsatz die Grundlage für weitere organisatorische Veränderungsprozesse bildet.

Robert Althier ist seit 1992 in Altenpflege tätig. Nach seinem Zugang als Zivildienstleistender absolvierte er die Ausbildung zum Altenpfleger und zahlreiche Fort- und Weiterbildungen. Neben seinen praktischen Erfahrungen als Leitungskraft erweiterte er seinen theoretischen Zugang zur stationären Altenhilfe über die Studiengänge Pflegemanagement, systemisches Management und Organisationsentwicklung.
