Ausgangspunkt und Anreiz dieser Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Fremdenfeindlichkeit war und ist die momentane gesellschaftliche und sozialpolitische Situation in Deutschland. Seit der Flüchtlingskrise 2015 erlebt die als rechtspopulistisch angesehene Partei Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) gro en Zuspruch und erreicht eine neuartige Auseinandersetzung innerhalb der etablierten politischen Landschaft in Deutschland. Mit zahlreichen fremdenfeindlichen und rassistischen Aussagen zahlreicher Parteimitgliedern zieht die Partei 2017 als drittstärkste Kraft in den Deutschen Bundestag ein. Angesichts dieser und anderer Vorkommnisse sowie der Wahlergebnisse in Deutschland könnte der Eindruck entstehen, als hätten fremdenfeindliche Einstellungen in der Bevölkerung seit der Flüchtlingskrise 2015 rapide zugenommen und rechte Ideologien wären politisch und gesellschaftlich anerkannter als zuvor. Mit dieser Vermutung und Blick auf die 19,7 Millionen lebenden Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund in Deutschland stellt sich die Frage, ob eine veränderte politische Lage Auswirkungen auf diese Gruppe von Menschen hat. So ist das Ziel dieser Bachelorarbeit, die Erfahrungsebene von Migranten und Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund im Hinblick auf die Fremdenfeindlichkeit seit der Flüchtlingskrise 2015 zu untersuchen. Die Motivation dieser Arbeit liegt darin, dass in der Migrationsforschung der Gro teil der Forschungsarbeiten darauf ausgerichtet ist, Aussagen über die Verbreitung fremdenfeindlicher und rechtsextremer Einstellungen und Haltungen zu treffen oder aber die Motivation der Täter_innen aufzudecken.
