Es gibt zahlreiche Literatur zu Innovationsmanagement. Diese bezieht sich jedoch meist auf Grossunternehmen. Bei Kleinunternehmen oder Startups ist diese kaum erforscht, obwohl Innovation einen essentiellen Überlebensfaktor der heutigen Unternehmen darstellt. Ebenso ist kaum Literatur in diesem Zusammenhang mit der Life Science Branche zu finden. Die Life Sciences ist eine komplexe, vielfältige und wachsende Industrie, welche unserer aller Zukunft mitgestalten wird. Es geht nicht nur um die Gesundheit.
