In einem betriebswirtschaftlichen Ablaufprozess ist nun die Kontrolle der letzte Schritt eines (Produktions-) Prozesses, der aus Planung, Realisation, Ergebnis und Ergebniskontrolle besteht. So sollte nach diesen Grunds�tzen, die Wirkung einer regionalpolitischen Ma nahme, sich in einer Erfolgskontrolle messen lassen. Es wurden bis dato viele Arbeiten �ber die Erfolgskontrolle regionalpolitischer Ma nahmen geschrieben, zum einen weil die betroffenen Institutionen und Organisationen Rechenschaft ablegen m�ssen, zum anderen ist die Regionalpolitik seit ca. den 1940er Jahren eine umfangreiche Themenstellung f�r Wissenschaftler. Aber bis jetzt sind nicht alle Wirkungen der Regionalpolitik gekl�rt. Ich m�chte in dieser Arbeit einen �berblick �ber die Konzepte der regionalpolitischen Erfolgskontrolle geben, ihre Ergebnisse und Probleme herausarbeiten und kritisch betrachten. Dieses m�chte ich speziell an der f�r Deutschland wichtigen Bund- L�nder- Gemeinschaftsaufgabe "Verbesserung der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur" verdeutlichen. Auch werde ich auf die theoretischen Modelle nach Frey und Gr�ske eingehen.
