Die Kette lie e sich weiter fortsetzen. Die Gehirnforschung hat viele Alltagsweisheiten bestätigt, andere wiederum als Mythos entlarvt. So wurde das bekannte deutsche Sprichwort, Was Hänschen nicht lernt, lernt Hans nimmermehr" durch die Neurobiologie mehr oder weniger bestätigt; andere hingegen eindeutig widerlegt. In der vorliegenden Ausarbeitung geht es darum, einen Einblick in die Gehirnforschung im Allgemeinen und in die neurobiologischen Vorgänge, die Lernen beeinflussen, im Speziellen zu erhalten. Unter "Lernen" wird hierbei der bewusste und unbewusste Erwerb von geistigen und körperlichen Fähigkeiten verstanden. Schon die indogermanische Wurzel des Begriffs, Lernen" bedeutet soviel wie, Spur, Bahn, Furche. Aus neurobiologischer Sicht ist dies interessant, da wir, um das Lernen zu, übersetzen", oft die Metapher "Spuren im Gehirn" gebrauchen. Jedoch ist Lernen mehr als das reine Abspeichern und Abrufen von Informationen. Lernen beinhaltet die Wahrnehmung, Verknüpfung mit Bekanntem (Erfahrung) und Erkennen von Regelmä igkeiten (Abstrahieren). Dadurch ist Lernen abhängig von den Bedingungen der Wahrnehmung (Sinnesorgane), des, Sich-Fühlens" (Emotionen) und der Denkfähigkeit (soziale und genetisch/materielle Strukturen). Alle diese Bedingungen sind neurobiologisch erforschbar und sollen im folgenden näher beleuchtet werden.
