Raumplanung, Note: 1,3, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit setzt sich mit der Visualisierung des Erfassten auseinander, sprich mit der Verarbeitung der empirisch gesammelten, abstrakten Daten zu einem digitalen Leerstandskataster. Genauer betrachtet, stellen sich die Fragen, wie können diese Daten effizient verarbeitet werden, welches Interface kann das Produkt, also das digitale Leerstandskataster, annehmen und wofür ist die Erstellung eines solchen nützlich? Zu Beginn wird der weitfassende Begriff Leerstand sowie seine Besonderheiten (Typen, Formen) eingegrenzt. Allerdings findet keine vollständige Betrachtung dessen statt, sondern viel-mehr eine auf diese Arbeit spezifizierte Darstellung, um das Basiswissen zu gewährleisten. An-schlie end wird das digitale Leerstandskataster behandelt. Zunächst erfolgt eine knappe Begriffserläuterung des Wortes Katasters, bevor anhand von zwei Beispielen der Aufbau sowie der Nutzen eines digitalen Leerstandskatasters angerissen werden. Darauf basierend wird ein mögliches Interface eines digitalen Leerstandskatasters vorgestellt, dass sich auf das Geoinformationssystem ArcGis und auf die darin importierten Layer der Stadt Mainz stützt. Abschlie end werden einige Möglichkeiten zum Nutzen eines digitalen Leerstandskataster aufgezeigt. Im Rahmen des Seminars "Leerstände in Mainz" werden die Leerstände innerhalb der S-Bahn-Linie S8 erfasst und ausgewertet. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein digitales Leerstandskataster notwendig. Jedoch enthält diese Ausführung zum Erstellen eines digitalen Leerstandskatasters keinen direkten Raumbezug zu Mainz, sondern behandelt vielmehr die theoretischen Grundlagen und weist somit Allgemeingültigkeit auf - ausgenommen ist die Verknüpfung mit den bereitgestellten ArcGIS-Layer.
